2) Bring some food to share.
3) Say NO to red cups and bring your own drinking vessel.
4) Have fun!
Possibly more news to follow, maybe not. Either way, let’s get pumped for a fantastic Beerathon 2011!
Over the years we have had many logos and designs for our official materials, websites, and t-shirts. Upon request today I gathered them up and offer them to you, the most likely more creative and talented public.
In this RAR file you will find some PSDs, some image files, some previously unreleased materials so feel free to do whatever you want with these provided it does not violate the spirit of Beerathon and is non-commercial. Impress us!

PS: If you have any logos that YOU have designed over the years, whether they were used or not, please send them to beerathonparty@gmail.com so we can have an authoritative collection for posterity as well as future creative endeavors.
Be seeing you.
Salutations!
This is the dawning of yet another year in the Beerathon legacy where we will once again celebrate friendship, beer, and other important stuff too.
In this, the latest installment, we find ourselves keeping it real in Poway again but this year we christen a new venue — Josh and Charlotte’s new house — on Saturday, August 6th at the traditional start time of Noon.
If you need directions, check out the Facebook page closer to the date, or e-mail anyone you know (see below, for example) to get the hot scoop.
If you were looking for a Noodleball-centric event, this is not your party due to lack of aquatic facilities. Do not be disheartened for we intend on organizing another tournament in the Fall.
However, if you are interested in good people, Stone Pale Ale, food, and other assorted merriment, then consider this a shin dig of your caliber. You are once again invited!
If you are reading this, you are the prospective Beerathon attendee, so please RSVP (if you haven’t by some other means) to kris.neuharth@gmail.com, joshua.long@gmail.com, or nathanedwardwood@gmail.com if you plan on attending.
If you have read this far, chances are you are coming and the rest of these details pertain to you.
If you want to bring some people, that’s cool, just make sure they are “cool” and you include them in your count with the RSVP.
Failure to RSVP will no doubt earn you scornful looks and shame amongst your fellow party goers. What’s the big deal, you ask? The big deal is that we need to know how much food to get and estimate how much beer will be consumed so people don’t 1) starve and 2) sober up.
Donations are welcome day of the party, as are additional food, snack, and dessert contributions. If you have special dietary needs please bring your own food or let us know in advance and we will do what we can to accommodate you but no guarantees. If you are snotty about your beer and/or have a fear of hopped beers, you are more than welcome to bring your own spirits with which to celebrate!
Also, please plan on bringing your favoritest drinking vessel. Traffic cone? Sippy cup? Nalgene? Stein? Dixie cup? Red cups are red because they are the spawn of the Devil and are wasteful and “not eco friendly”. With this in mind, be wary of asking for one upon your arrival. Bring your mug/whatever and put it against others in the now Second Annual Contest for the Coolest Beerathon Drinking Device. (There is no acronym, I just like Eccentric capitalization.)
Stay tuned for further news and updates as we get closer to the big day.
